In June 2006, Ukraine’s enterprises decreased cast iron output by 3.8% versus May 2006 to 2,766.3 ths tons, steel production – by 3% to 3,479.7 ths tons, and rolled metal output – by 3% to 3,082.5 ths tons. As it was reported, in May 2006, cast iron production moved up by 8.8% against April 2006 to 2,875.5 ths tons, steel output – by 7% to 3,589.2 ths tons, and rolled metal production – by 6.8% to 3,179.9 ths tons.
