In June 2006, Makeyevka Metallurgical Plant declined rolled metal output by 7.1% versus May to 113.6 ths tons, steel production – by 5.7% to 133.5 ths tons, and cast iron production – by 4.1% to 109.9 ths tons. As it was reported, in May 2006, the plant decreased rolled metal output by 9.4% against April 2006 to 106 ths tons, wile steel production stepped up by 10.7% to 141.6 ths tons, and cast iron production – by 27% to 114.6 ths tons.
